► iTEBS X* cabling of the newest generation
The latest generation of EBS (iTEBS X) from Knorr Bremse AG is currently being launched on the market. The new iTEBS X family will be available in the variants iTEBS X ECO, iTEBS X PLUS and iTEBS X LAC. The connection concept is realized with HDSCS connectors. The required field test trials have been successfully passed with the elkatec™ cable versions and have already been transferred and approved as series cabling.
elkatec™ offers cable solutions for all existing interfaces and provides you with the optimum cabling concept. All cable interfaces on the modulator and on the peripherals are encapsulated in the proven elkatec™ quality and therefore significantly increase performance compared to conventional cable solutions on the market.

► From July 2024, all newly registered trailers must be equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.
This results in numerous advantages that not only increase safety, but also contribute to cost savings and greater availability of your vehicles. elkatec™ now supplies the appropriate cabling for all common tire pressure control systems (according to the new ECE 141 regulation).

With the project example of circuit board casting, elkatec™ with its encapsulation technology offers the possibility to attach circuit boards to existing connector systems and then to cast or encapsulate them together. Due to the selected method, many positive properties can be linked with each other (or more information see elkatec™-catalog).

Overmolded connectors for trucks and trailers require high-performance sheathing to ensure safe and long-lasting long-distance traffic. elkatec™ is a specialist in permanent electrical wiring for truck tractors and trailers. At our production location Werne (North Rhine Westphalia), the company manufactures tested, German-certified security for particularly long-lasting connections. In addition plugs and cables for commercial vehicles and trailers are optimally encapsulated in the production process and thermally securely fixed. For this the range of applications includes a multitude of plug-in systems and combinations that include all the possibilities of modern electronic control in trucks and trailers.
